VEHICLE WITH AUTO TRANSMISSION WAS SWITCHED FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE POSITION ON FLAT SURFACE. WHEN DRIVER MOVED FOOT FROM BRAKE TO GAS PEDAL VEHICLE LURCHED BACKWARD STRIKING POLE. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO OBSERVED LURCHING FORWARD WHEN REVERSE LIGHTS WERE ON. DEALERSHIP REPLACED TCM CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE AND REPROGRAMED.
