TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ALLOWING THE ENGINE TO RUN WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY INTO A NEIGHBOR'S YARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 16,400. *TR

ON ABOVE DATE, WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 JEEP, ON RT 206 IN UPSTATE NY, MY VEHICLES BRAKES LOCKED UP AT 55MPH THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A JEEP DEALERSHIP IN SIDNEY NY WHERE NOTHING WRONG WAS FOUND WITH THE JEEP. *TR ON 9-1-11 I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GRAND PRIX JEEP IN HICKSVILLE,NY AND A DEFECT WAS DISCOVERED IN BOTH THE MASTER CYLINDER AND THE BRAKE POWER BOOSTER. MY VEHICLE WAS IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR APPROX 7 DAYS. THIS VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT BY ME ON 8-23-11.
